3M™ Cold Shrink Quick Insulator QI 10/37-270 provides a quick solution for a wide range of cable sizes. It combines the environmental seal of mastic with the reliability of 3M™s field-proven cold shrink technology. Each cold shrink tube has factory-installed mastic rings in each end to provide added protection and range taking capability. Fits cable size range of 2 AWG - 500 kcmil for aluminum connectors and 2 AWG - 750 kcmil for copper connectors.QI series insulators are easily installed by hand with no tools. They seal tightly with excellent wet electrical properties and are tested to requirements of ANSI C119.1. They are recommended for such applications as secondary inline splices, especially in tight spaces or on cable racks, with imperfect or scarred cable jackets, and for splices in which the cable can only be removed from one side. Also recommended for dig-in and sheath repair splices, street lighting, sealing connections or switchgear, transition connectors and set-screw or oversized connectors, and for retrofitting and repairing cable leads for secondary transformers.

The 3M™ Cold Shrink Low Voltage QSLV-M provides quick, reliable insulation and protection for secondary low-voltage splices. The 8-2/0 tube fits 2 AWG to 500 kcmil. Mastic rings at each end provide remarkably wide wire range. In fact, the two QSLV-M tubes together offer 3 times the wire range on traditional cold applied products. After installation, a solid internal core remains inside to protect against impact damage. Installation is easy with no torch or tools required. It provides reliable sealing and long-term durability. , even after years of aging and exposure. QSLV-M tubes are designed to resist fungus, acids and alkalies, and have passed testing for ANSI C119.1. The lugs must be purchased separately. 3M™ Scotchlock Copper Compression Lugs 30000 Series, or other UL listed copper lugs, can be used.
